Colour in a B&W world

Aaron & Tony. Weirdly in colour in a B&W world ...

This is extremely irritating … <sigh> … I’m trying to work out how – if I want to put more than one picture into a single post – I can arrange them as I choose, as opposed to the software just lining them all up boringly along the top.  So for now, I think you’re just going to get a set of three tweets, each with its own photo.  I’ll work it out eventually …

Anyway:  this is a nice photo from Sunday (our Chicago Opera Theater day) of Aaron & Tony in front of a great B&W cartoon of the ‘cloud gate’ sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park (more about British sculptor Anish Kapoor here ) aka ‘the bean’.  Millennium Park really is one of Chicago’s triumphs;  and Cloud Gate – photos can’t really convey how wonderful and mysterious it is – is one of its great anchors.  I’ll no doubt post on some of the others (Pritzker Pavillion … Crown Fountain … etc) in later posts.
